Advent Begins Next Sunday November 30th Advent begins the Sunday on or following St. Andrew's Day (Nov. 30th). You will notice the vestments change from green to blue. One Advent Candle is lit each week as we prepare for Christ's Coming. The liturgy will change as will the music we sing. We will be emphasizing preparation -- for all the ways in which Christ comes to us. We will begin Year B of the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL). This year most of our Gospel Readings will come from Mark. |
